Badger Digs up Ancient Warriors

From ARCHEOLOGY: A publication of the Archeological Institute of America 8/13/13

BRANDENBURG, GERMANY – A Badger digging in the earth in Northern Germany has revealed a graveyard of medieval Slavish warriors. Archeologists were called in by local artists who saw the Badger’s serendipitous find. They eventually revealed eight graves, six belonging to warriors, two to noblemen. One warrior, estimated to have died at age 40, was buried with a double edged sword and bronze bowl at his feet, indicating he was of high social class. He also had a bronze buckle with a snake’s head on it that the archeologists say came from Scandinavia.
